Deposit & Payment Policies

Our goal is to ensure a smooth and transparent registration process. These policies outline the commitments required on both sides and help us coordinate accurately with our retreat center and local partners. If anything needs clarification, please feel free to reach out.

1. Deposit — $400 (Non-Refundable)

Your $400 deposit reserves your space on the retreat.
Because we immediately commit to the retreat center on your behalf, this deposit is non-refundable.

2. Second Payment — 50% of Your Retreat Cost (Minus your $400 Deposit)

Your total retreat cost depends on the room you choose. Once you select your room, your second payment becomes due.

Second payment = 50% of your retreat total minus the $400 deposit you’ve already paid.
This payment is non-refundable. It secures your room at Pura Vida and supports arrangements for retreat activities.

3. Final Payment — Remaining 50% of Your Retreat Cost

Your final payment covers the remaining half of your retreat total. After your second payment is made, we will reach out with your final payment options.

Your final payment is refundable only if we are able to rebook your room with another participant.

If your room is successfully rebooked, we are happy to refund your final payment.
If we cannot rebook your room, the final payment is not refundable.

We understand that life can shift unexpectedly. In extreme, documented circumstances, we are open to a compassionate conversation, but refunds cannot be guaranteed, as your payments directly support the retreat experience we are actively building for you.

4. Extenuating Circumstances

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. If something significant affects your ability to attend, please contact us at yelapayogaretreat@gmail.com so we can review your situation and discuss what options may be available.

5. Transfer of Booking

If you’ve made your final payment and are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member.

Transfers are often the simplest and quickest solution.

If you wish to transfer your spot:
•    We require the new participant’s contact information for safety and planning.
•    Your replacement must take the same room or a room of equal value so our commitments with Pura Vida remain intact.
•    Please notify us as early as possible so we can help facilitate a smooth transition.

If you find someone to take your place, your refund for the final payment may be higher depending on how seamlessly the transfer occurs.

6. Why These Policies Exist

After registration, we reserve your room and move forward with confirming all retreat components, including the retreat center, facilitators, musicians, and guides. Your payments make it possible for us to secure these arrangements in a timely and reliable way. We appreciate your cooperation and are here to answer any questions you may have.
