Yelapa Yoga Retreat - Mexico 2026 - Discover Your Dharma
Imagine waking each morning to the sound of waves and birdsong, with the jungle at your back and the ocean stretched wide before you. From May 3–9, 2026, join your hosts Reva, Diana, and michael be for a week of yoga, community, and soulful renewal in the magical village of Yelapa, Mexico.

When Reva found yoga, she loved how the practice made her feel both powerful and peaceful; how it brought a sense of presence that she had never experienced before. She was originally sparked by Hatha and then fell in love with the creativity and dance of Vinyasa.
Her first big plunge to deepen her studies came with the completion of a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified Vinyasa teacher training. Reva later traveled to Bali for her second 200 hour teacher training in Hatha Yoga with Akasha Yoga Academy learning the history and philosophy of this sacred practice. This adventure enriched her teaching style and showed her there is always more to learn!
The study of Yin yoga opened up a new doorway. Reva has found tremendous benefit in slowing down and listening. Insight Yoga training with Sarah Powers drastically changed her approach to practice and teaching. Yang postures with a Yin mentality can connect practitioners to the present moment.
Reva loves being able to share her passion for yoga with her students. She has found balance in her own practice by blending together the flow of Vinyasa and the focus of Hatha. The stillness and reflection of Yin allows more presence in active practice. Restorative yoga helps calm the nervous system, allowing the body to regenerate on a cellular level. Reva believes that all styles of yoga are beneficial. She offers a well-rounded and creative approach, with dynamic classes that are sure to energize and inspire!
Reva, the hostess at Casa Isabel, has spent the past year witnessing the incredible transformations that unfold during yoga retreats within this sacred space. She has been captivated by the profound healing energy that permeates Casa Isabel and feels privileged to be a part of this transformative process. She can’t wait to share it with you!
Delicious Cuisine

Our chefs craft meals that are primarily organic, gluten-free, sugar-free, and vegetarian, always with vegan options, and fish or chicken available upon request. Special cleansing or fasting options are available upon request, and menus can be tailored for dietary needs. Every bite is made with care, letting the local flavors of Yelapa fuel and restore you in this tropical paradise.

A Cacao ceremony is a ritualistic gathering that involves the consumption of pure, ceremonial-grade cacao in a supportive and intentional space. Participants typically set intentions for the ceremony, engage in meditation or guided visualization, and share their experiences. Our Cacao Ceremony will be led by two beautiful humans who put their whole hearts into sharing this beautiful medicine and have created an offering that we know you will love. We can’t wait for you to meet Rachel and Matias!

Is Yelapa a safe place to travel for a yoga retreat?
Absolutely! Yelapa is a secure place with a remarkably low incidence of theft or other criminal activities. What yoga classes are offered?
Reva and Diana have amassed several years of expertise and training in yoga. During the retreat, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of yoga practices, including Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, and restorative yoga, as well as meditation and breathwork. Are there any visa or vaccination requirements for visiting Mexico?
Visa Requirements:
For most travelers — including citizens of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and most EU countries — no visa is required to enter Mexico for tourism or retreat purposes for stays of up to 180 days. All you’ll need is a valid passport and a completed entry form (often distributed on your flight or available upon arrival).
If you plan to stay longer than 180 days or engage in activities beyond tourism (such as work or study), you may need to apply for a visa in advance. We always recommend checking with the Mexican consulate or embassy in your home country for the most current entry requirements before you travel.
Vaccination & Health Recommendations:
There are no required vaccinations to enter Mexico as a tourist. However, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that all travelers be up to date on routine vaccinations such as measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), polio, tetanus, and the seasonal flu.
Because our retreat takes place in early May, when temperatures are warm and humidity is moderate, you may also want to consider Hepatitis A and Typhoid vaccines, which are commonly suggested for travelers to rural or coastal regions of Mexico.
Finally, it’s a good idea to check the CDC Travel Health Notices page a few weeks before departure for any updates or advisories.
Tip: We recommend bringing a small personal first-aid kit, insect repellent, and any prescription medications you may need, as pharmacies in Yelapa are limited.
